““Thank you Angels for Higher for putting this in motion! Jack is off to a great start. Who knew this could be his life? The United Center was short-staffed one night, they actually needed Jack to scan tickets and he did the job without any help! Proud mom moment for sure!””
““Zach played ice hockey for 13 years on a Blackhawks Charity team known as the Tomahawks and he absolutely loves that his former hockey coach agreed to drive him to work once a month. His favorite part of his job is getting to scan tickets as the fans enter the game. Zach keeps the crowd roaring!!”
““So much gratitude to you and your organization for creating opportunities for our community!””
““We’re so excited to have our Greeters working for us! Jack and Zach definitely enjoy working at the UC! We have a routine going that is working well and their parents seem to be pleased with everything!””
“Over the past three months, I’ve watched Jack scan the tickets of hundreds (thousands?) of fans at the United Center. I am humbled by his bosses, his coworkers, and the thousands of people who have passed through his gate with patience, kindness, but especially those who are completely oblivious and unaware that there is anything different about him. This is inclusion. Not when someone special gets noted and feted for their specialness, but for their ability to just be. Be a coworker. Be a young person working a service job. To NOT be seen as different IS something special. He grows every day. I really watched him tonight. He is waving guests over, giving directions to the restrooms, to the seating sections, to the ticket office. And no one seems to notice that he is anything other than a Guest Services Representative. Or what a part they are playing in making this mom’s big dreams for her son come true.””
“Sam had an amazing night and loved every minute! ...Thanks for this tremendous opportunity!””
